British boxing star Anthony Joshua has provided an update on his recovery following elbow surgery as he prepares for his upcoming return to the ring.
Known to fans as “AJ,” he underwent surgery two weeks ago to address an arm injury that had sidelined him.
Joshua offered a glimpse into his rehabilitation process by sharing footage of himself shadowboxing on social media platforms.

Posting on his Snapchat account, Joshua stated: “2 weeks post operation. Back to the grind in a few days.”
The 35-year-old boxer was previously defeated by Daniel Dubois, 27, at Wembley and had appeared interested in an immediate rematch.
However, the rematch with Dubois did not materialise. Dubois is now scheduled to face Oleksandr Usyk in a return bout on July 19 in London, two years after his initial loss to the Ukrainian fighter.
Meanwhile, Tyson Fury, 36, who recently faced Usyk, 37, had previously announced his retirement in January. Despite this, AJ`s promoter, Eddie Hearn, is hopeful that the unpredictable “Gypsy King” will reverse his decision and agree to fight Joshua.
Negotiations for a new two-fight deal involving Joshua are currently ongoing with Saudi boxing head Turki Alalshikh.
Speaking to BoxingScene in late May, Hearn commented on Joshua`s recovery: “He`s had the operation, which went very well, and now he`s just sort of rehabbing it.”
Hearn added: “I believe about six weeks till he can punch again properly, and that kind of lends itself to a September, October, November fight.”
“That gives us a chance to see what happens with Dubois against Usyk,” Hearn continued. “That gives us a chance to see if Mr. Fury will ever return, and maybe something else.”
Concluding his remarks, Hearn confirmed, “But he`s definitely fighting this year and looking forward to it.”
Regarding future potential matchups, a caption from a previous video release noted:
A tense face-off between Anthony Joshua and Mahmoud Charr occurred during talks for a proposed two-fight deal.
