PFL management is reportedly preparing a significant rebranding for its project, and one of the most highly anticipated and widely discussed proposals involves the potential return of a more recognized and popular name: Bellator.
This news comes after PFL acquired Bellator in November 2023, subsequently deciding to close the promotion. However, it now appears the organization is considering a reversal, aiming to leverage Bellator’s established brand recognition and fan base.
Eblin: “We have nothing to lose, at least”
Reacting to the potential revival of the promotion, former champion Johnny Eblin weighed in on the news, stating: “We have nothing to lose, at least.”
The decision to resurrect the Bellator brand is seen as a strategic move to capitalize on its historical legacy and existing fanbase within the MMA world, potentially revitalizing the promotion under PFL’s new umbrella structure.
