Conor McGregor Declares Historic White House UFC Comeback “Done Deal”

UFC superstar Conor McGregor has confirmed he`s officially signed a contract for his highly anticipated return to the Octagon. This marks his first fight since suffering a severe leg injury against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.

McGregor is slated to headline a historic UFC event at the White House in June 2026, coinciding with the United States` 250th anniversary.

Conor McGregor Confirms Official Return

After a public campaign and earlier negotiations with the US government, McGregor emphatically stated to Sean Hannity, “It’s a done deal, signed, delivered.” He confirmed his participation in the White House event, highlighting his strong working relationship with UFC President Dana White and his status as the promotion`s top revenue-generator. He also alluded to the UFC`s new $7.7 billion Paramount cable TV deal, indicating a ready and eager attitude for his comeback.

Preparation Underway for White House Event

Speaking at a BKFC 82 media event, the 37-year-old discussed his return strategy after a prolonged absence. He described his preparation as a “six-month operation” leading up to the White House event, which is approximately eight months away. McGregor expressed his excitement and readiness for the significant stakes involved in his highly anticipated comeback.
