Conor McGregor Reveals Hilarious Moment Jake Paul and Logan Paul Turned on Each Other When Trio Met

UFC superstar Conor McGregor recounted an amusing incident where the Paul brothers` apparent unity dissolved during their first encounter at the time of President Trump`s inauguration.

This meeting occurred in January, following years of verbal sparring and serious discussions about a potential fight between McGregor and Logan Paul in India. The resulting video quickly went viral, showing both Logan and Jake Paul taking playful shots at the UFC icon.

However, McGregor asserts that the moment the camera stopped—operated by their mother, Pam Stepnick—the brothers immediately began bickering amongst themselves. The conflict centered on who actually owned the rights to the footage, which was recognized as a potentially massive, exclusive piece of content for their respective YouTube channels.

The Argument Over Content Ownership

The meeting took place while en route to Donald Trump`s second Presidential Inauguration. As they boarded a bus, Conor McGregor and the Paul brothers were required to leave their security teams behind. The Pauls` mother was present, diligently recording the long-awaited face-off with the UFC star.

While Jake had long been the primary antagonist pushing for a fight, McGregor noted that at that specific time, Logan was closer to finalizing a bout (which McGregor felt Logan then failed to capitalize on by remaining silent).

During an exclusive interview at his Dublin pub, The Black Forge Inn, McGregor observed that the brothers` immediate concern, once filming concluded, shifted from sparring with him to feuding with each other.

“It was fascinating because they`re doing it all on phones, right?” McGregor explained. “These are content creators, these young men, they`re YouTube guys. So when I get in, I’m just rocking around not thinking of anything.”

“So I show up and straight away they’re like `get the camera` and it was their mother – who I actually thought was lovely, a good woman – who had the phone. So she`s doing her thing and we`re talking and whatnot.”

“Then we get on the bus and the two brothers start going at each other over whose footage it is! So whose footage is it? Is it Logan`s or is it Jake`s? I just thought it was funny. I suppose because there`s revenue in that, that`s their whole little world.”

McGregor Still Eyeing a Fight with a Paul Brother

Conor McGregor revealed he had a lucrative arrangement ready to fight Logan Paul. McGregor had been trying to secure a highly profitable deal with the Indian Ambani family to host a fight against the elder Paul brother. Although Jake is the more active professional boxer, McGregor believed a fight with Logan made more logical sense, especially considering Logan’s recent history and his perceived lesser boxing skill.

McGregor maintains that such an opportunistic side-bout (“nixer”) remains possible in the future, but only after he returns to the Octagon to chase a third divisional title at welterweight.

“I had a sweet deal there,” McGregor stated. “Look, those YouTuber fights will come. I`m coming back for glory, for the gold belt, for the triple crown. That`s what I`m after. So all these other side jobs? Look at Mike Tyson; look how fresh he looks, he`s an inspiration to me.”
