Conor McGregor shows his ‘loyalty’ to Dana White with wholesome family message amid UFC uncertainty

Despite a long hiatus from the octagon, Conor McGregor and Dana White maintain a close relationship.

The former two-division UFC champion has been sidelined since suffering a broken leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.

Although McGregor has frequently discussed his potential return, he has yet to compete since the injury.

`Notorious` and White appear to have a friendly bond, even though they haven’t always seen eye-to-eye during McGregor`s extended absence from fighting.

Conor McGregor Sends Wholesome Message to Dana White

Speculation regarding McGregor`s return to the UFC has subsided recently.

UFC President Dana White is currently focused on new ventures, while McGregor is spending time with his family.

Recently, during a family vacation, McGregor and his children shared a video message for the UFC head.

In a video shared on Instagram, McGregor`s young sons greeted White saying, “What’s up, Uncle Dana?”

McGregor added with a laugh: “Brother, we love you to bits.

“Go on, Dana. Go on, the Dana feller.

“The McGregors are only warming up.

“Up, Dana. Up the UFC. Let’s go, baby!”

McGregor posted the video on his Instagram story, tagging the UFC and White, and included the hashtag ‘#loyalty’.

White later reposted the video, sharing the moment with his large Instagram following.

Dana White’s Latest Conor McGregor Update

Earlier this year, White had expressed confidence that McGregor would compete in 2025.

However, as the year progresses, a return to the octagon appears less probable in the near future.

Aside from a brief call-out of Michael Chandler following UFC 314, McGregor has been notably silent regarding his potential comeback fight.

In May, White indicated that a McGregor fight was not currently being planned.

When questioned about McGregor`s next bout, the UFC president stated, “He’s not fighting anytime soon.”

White also added, “I haven’t talked to him in a minute, but yeah, I don’t know.”
