Dana White baffled as reporter asks ‘weirdest question of all time’ during UFC 317 press conference

Dana White was visibly taken aback by a question posed during the UFC 317 press conference.

The event, held on Thursday in Las Vegas, featured main event fighters Ilia Topuria, Charles Oliveira, and other athletes promoting the significant upcoming card.

For the most part, the press conference unfolded without major surprises, with journalists primarily directing questions at the headlining fighters.

However, the dynamic shifted towards the end when the UFC CEO faced an unexpected and rather unusual query.

Dana White Reacts to the `Weirdest Question`

A Spanish-speaking reporter began by highlighting Ilia Topuria`s recent victories in Spanish.

After listing the UFC 317 headliner`s impressive knockout wins against Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway, the journalist then asked if he thought Dana White would be upset if Topuria were to extend his undefeated MMA record by defeating yet another legend.

Topuria reportedly found the question amusing, and it was subsequently put to White, leading to a somewhat awkward moment.

The UFC boss responded, clearly confused: “Are you asking me if I will be mad if he wins?”

Laughter rippled through the room as the visibly perplexed UFC executive commented on the sheer oddity of the question.

“Sir, congratulations, you win the weirdest question of all time,” White declared.

“Congratulations. Thank you.”

Topuria conveyed strong confidence as he prepares for his fight. He is competing at lightweight, notably for the first time since he was significantly stunned during a knockout victory over Jai Herbert at UFC London in March 2022.

“I am the best fighter in the world,” he asserted.

“It`s not a question of `if` I will win the belt; I *will* do it.

“I am going to knock him out in the first round.”
