Eddie Hearn Hits Back at Dana White and Zuffa Boxing: “Ain’t Out The Garage Yet”

The ongoing rivalry between Eddie Hearn and Dana White has reached new heights after White publicly dismissed Hearn as a significant competitor in the boxing world. Following the Zuffa Boxing 04 event, White, known for his direct approach, declared that Hearn, chairman of Matchroom Sport, is merely a manager among many and brings nothing innovative to the industry.

Hearn was quick to retaliate during an appearance on *The Ariel Helwani Show*. The Matchroom boss asserted that Dana White is fundamentally ill-suited for the boxing business and expressed surprise at what he perceived as White’s premature “implosion” within the sport. Hearn highlighted White’s contradictory behavior, noting that White had previously hurled insults and even issued a challenge for a boxing match, only to later claim Hearn was no longer his competition. Hearn confidently concluded that when it comes to boxing, White “cannot lace my boots.”

Furthermore, Hearn strongly criticized Zuffa Boxing, labeling its offerings as “bang-average content.” He bluntly stated that White’s boxing promotion “ain’t out the garage yet,” drawing a sharp contrast between Zuffa’s events, often held at the Meta APEX, and Matchroom’s ability to sell out stadium shows. Hearn implied that despite White’s vocal criticisms, he has no substantial achievements in boxing to boast about.
