Gadzhi Rabadanov Secures Devastating 32-Second KO Against Marc Diakiese at PFL 3

Gadzhi Rabadanov made a powerful statement at the PFL 3 co-main event on Friday, stopping former UFC competitor Marc Diakiese with a terrifying ground and pound knockout in just 32 seconds. This victory sees Rabadanov pick up right where he left off after his success in the 2024 PFL season.

The fight was over almost as soon as it began. Diakiese attempted to initiate with a kick, but this proved costly. Rabadanov expertly caught the leg, used it to secure a swift takedown, and immediately started unleashing a barrage of heavy punches from top position.

The relentless ground and pound quickly found its mark. A particularly powerful right hand from Rabadanov landed clean, rendering Diakiese unconscious. As Diakiese went limp, the referee wasted no time stepping in to halt the contest, ensuring his safety. Diakiese remained on the canvas for a brief period before being able to regain his composure and return to his stool.

The official time of the brutal finish was confirmed to be a mere 32 seconds.

Speaking after his impressive win, Rabadanov showed sportsmanship despite the swift nature of the defeat he inflicted.

“This is sport. I stay respectful for all my opponents,” Rabadanov commented. “Of course, I have more motivation. I have to prove to people I deserve to be here. I prepared for this. It worked.”

He added, acknowledging his opponent, “He has a family. He has his fans and I understand this guy. I don’t want to break somebody. I just want to win.”

This latest victory extends Rabadanov`s impressive winning streak to 11 fights overall, including five consecutive wins within the PFL. Solidifying his status as a strong contender in the lightweight division, Rabadanov is now considered a clear favorite to claim the tournament title and is scheduled to face Jay-Jay Wilson in the upcoming semifinals.
