Jake Paul is preparing for his return to the boxing ring after a break exceeding seven months.
This upcoming bout will be his first since his widely discussed win against Mike Tyson last November.

The 28-year-old, known as “The Problem Child,” holds a professional boxing record of 11 wins and 1 loss, with his sole defeat coming from Tommy Fury.
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., aged 39, has a record of 54 wins and 6 losses, including 34 victories by knockout. He was the world middleweight champion between 2011 and 2012.
Despite his extensive professional background, Chavez Jr. has fought infrequently recently, competing just once in the past four years – a decision victory over former UFC fighter Uriah Hall in July 2024. Chavez Jr. has the most impressive boxing resume among Paul`s past opponents, with the exception of the significantly older Mike Tyson.
Is There a Rematch Clause?
As of now, it has not been officially confirmed whether a rematch clause is part of the contract for the Jake Paul vs Chavez Jr fight. Jake Paul typically does not include rematch clauses in his fight agreements; Tyron Woodley is the only fighter he has faced more than once.
