Boxer Johnny Fisher has located a local Chinese restaurant near his training base in Fuerteventura, but he`s holding off on visiting until after his rematch with Dave Allen.
Fisher headed to the Canary Islands in Spain for a warm-weather training camp, seeking to escape the distractions associated with being a popular figure in his hometown of Romford.

This move also requires him to forgo his preferred Chinese cheat meal spot, the Blue Orchard, which gained fame partly through his father, `Big` John Fisher, a social media personality.
While training in Fuerteventura, Fisher did manage to find a Chinese restaurant, but he`s disciplined himself to wait until his upcoming fight is over before enjoying a meal there.
He confirmed, “Yeah, we`ll save it until after the fight. Once we`ve finished the job Saturday night, we`ll have plenty of chicken balls.”
Fisher is a strong ticket seller for promoter Eddie Hearn, partly due to the popularity of his father, John, known for his love of takeaways, who is also planning the celebration meal.
His dad, John, added enthusiastically, “There`s only one place to go, Blue Orchid. We`ll head there sometime next week. We can`t wait! Bosh!”
Although Fisher is the professional fighter in the family, his father, with over 500,000 Instagram followers, could be considered the more widely recognised.
Big John travels globally, from America to the Pacific, meeting fans, allowing his son to focus on his training while he`s away.
Fisher Jr. commented on his family`s support despite the distance, saying, “My mum and dad are my mum and dad, it doesn`t matter if I spend a year away from them or one day, it`s never gonna change; we`re always thinking of each other. It`s not a major issue. My dad is now travelling around the world, so it`s just part of our current situation.”
In their previous encounter in Saudi Arabia last December, the 26-year-old Fisher was knocked down by the 33-year-old Allen, but he ultimately secured a controversial split-decision victory in a thrilling fight.
The former Exeter University student, who also played rugby during his studies, required a brain scan after the fight due to a blood clot in his ear.
Despite this, the courageous `Romford Bull` is undeterred and ready for another intense battle, even after his father had to be with him in the hospital in Riyadh.
Fisher explained his fighting style: “I think I naturally tend to go in and create that kind of fight instinctively. That`s just my nature, and I won`t avoid it at all. That`s who I am.”
He also commented on his father`s reaction: “And naturally, my dad will be a father; if my son were going into a fight, I`d be anxious. I get anxious watching my friends fight. I recall watching Joe Joyce fight many times, and he`s my friend, so you feel nervous. But when you`re the one in the ring, there are no nerves; you just go in and do your job.”
