UFC President Dana White has confirmed that former two-weight champion Jon Jones is officially back in the promotion`s drug testing pool.
This comes just weeks after Jones had announced his retirement from mixed martial arts.
Jones made this swift return to competition plans following the announcement that President Donald Trump would host a UFC event at the White House in 2026.
`Bones` himself had previously stated he was back in the testing pool and ready to fight on the proposed White House card.

White Verifies Jones` Return to Testing Pool
White has described the planned White House event as potentially the ‘baddest’ UFC show ever.
The UFC CEO also mentioned a heavyweight clash between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall as his ideal main event for the occasion.
According to White, this dream scenario is now possible, as ‘Bones’ has officially ended his brief retirement by re-entering the USADA testing pool.
Confirming the return, White stated, “He jumped back in the pool.”
When asked if it was official, he simply replied, “Oh yeah.”
Jones Explains Why He Ended Retirement
Jon Jones recently held an impromptu Q&A session with fans on social media, addressing his decision.
During the session, Jones explained his change of heart regarding retirement and expressed readiness to face any opponent, responding to past accusations of avoiding reigning heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall.
In one tweet, he recounted, “Donald made his announcement on the morning of the Fourth of July, I called the UFC headquarters that very same afternoon. I’ll just leave it at that. America! Now that tickles my pickle.”
Responding to a fan who anticipated a classic fight, Jones stated, “It would be, for me it’s about the opportunity to represent America at the White House. I don’t care who I fight that night. I found my reason why, that’s what I needed, something that was more than money.”
