Kickboxing Rankings Update: October 2025

This report details the key movements and results among top kickboxers who competed over the past month, providing a comprehensive overview of the updated rankings.

With kickboxing`s global expansion, fueled by major promotions such as GLORY, K-1, and ONE Championship, athletes are continuously vying for recognition in both media coverage and official rankings. Monthly, Beyond Kickboxing presents its updated rankings across all weight classes, from Heavyweight to Flyweight, alongside comprehensive pound-for-pound lists for both male and female competitors.

Notably, there was no activity among the top 10 fighters in several divisions this month, including Heavyweight (+95 kg), Middleweight (-85 kg), Super Bantamweight (-61 kg), Women`s Openweight (+59 kg), and Women`s Strawweight (-51 kg).

POUND-FOR-POUND MEN

Miguel Trindade on the attack.
  • Tyjani Beztati (5 to NR) exits the pound-for-pound rankings following his retirement from kickboxing to transition into mixed martial arts.
  • Miguel Trindade (NR to 10) earns his debut entry into the pound-for-pound top 10. As a GLORY tournament finalist and title contender, Trindade has cemented his position as a formidable competitor, securing his spot with impressive knockouts against Chadd Collins and Kento Haraguchi.

LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT (-95 KG)

Thian de Vries collects another belt.
  • Thian De Vries (8) secured the Enfusion Cage Xtreme Rules 88kg title by knocking out Kevin van Heeckeren in the second round of an open-finger gloves mixed rules match. This victory, however, does not alter his current ranking. Unfortunately, the Dutch fighter sustained a broken left hand during the bout, casting doubt on his scheduled November clash with Liu Ce.

WELTERWEIGHT (-77 KG)

Don Sno
  • Tyjani Beztati (2 to NR) has been removed from the rankings following his kickboxing retirement announcement last month.
  • Mehdi Ait El Hadj (NR to 9) enters the rankings at 9th place.
  • Alim Nabiev (7 to NR) exits the rankings due to a year of inactivity in kickboxing and his recent debut in mixed martial arts.
  • Don Sno (NR to 10) secures his first ranking at 10th place.

LIGHTWEIGHT (-71 KG)

Ouyang Feng
  • Ouyang Feng (3 to 2) advances to 2nd place after a majority decision victory over Kacper Muszynski (6), earning him a spot in the 2025 K-1 World MAX Final tournament.
  • Stoyan Koprivlenski (10) also qualified for the 2025 K-1 World MAX Final tournament, securing his place with a unanimous decision win against Denis Tapu.

SUPER FEATHERWEIGHT (-67.5 KG)

Nabil Anane lands a low blow.
  • Ilias Ennahachi (10) competed against Nabil Anane in a bout that concluded as a no-contest in the third round following an accidental low blow.

FEATHERWEIGHT (-64 KG)

Giorgi Malania
  • Giorgi Malania (1) successfully defended his Wu Lin Feng -63 kg title, stopping Jin Ying (5) after knocking him down four times.
  • Zhao Chongyang (4) delivered a spectacular high-kick knockout against Arman Moradi in the second round of their 65 kg contest.
  • Yuzuki Satomi (7) claimed a split decision victory over Yuma Saikyo (10) in an extended round.

  • Sam-A (10) secured a unanimous decision win against Thway Lin Htet in a Muay Thai rules bout. This result does not impact his kickboxing ranking.

SUPER FLYWEIGHT (-55 KG)

Akihiro Kaneko
  • Akihiro Kaneko (4 to 3) ascends to 3rd place after successfully defending his K-1 55kg title against Koji Ikeda (3 to 4). Kaneko won by unanimous decision, punctuated by two crucial knockdowns.

FLYWEIGHT (-53 KG)

Adam Sor.Dechapan
  • Toma Kuroda (5 to 7) suffered a unanimous decision loss to Adam Sor.Dechapan (NR to 6). In a close contest, the former K-1 champion was edged out by Adam, who showcased an impressive kickboxing debut with a decisive jab and effective middle kicks.
  • Issei Ishii (10) was defeated by Phusingha via split decision in a Muay Thai rules match, a result that does not alter his kickboxing ranking.

WOMEN`S BANTAMWEIGHT (-57.5 KG)

Stella Hemetsberger
  • Jackie Buntan (2) was defeated by Stella Hemetsberger (6) via unanimous decision in their ONE Muay Thai title fight. This outcome does not impact their kickboxing rankings.

WOMEN`S FLYWEIGHT (-53.5 KG)

Antonia Prifti
  • Tessa De Kom (4 to 5) lost a split decision to Antonia Prifti (NR to 3), who made a successful return to the division by claiming the IFP -52 kg title.

WOMEN`S ATOMWEIGHT (-47 KG)

Kiho
  • Kira Matsutani (2) successfully defended her K-1 -45 kg title, defeating Aki Suematsu (8) by split decision in an extended round.
  • Misaki (3) secured the ISKA Oriental Rules -48 kg World title with a unanimous decision victory over Clementine Egg.
  • Panchan Rina (4 to NR) is removed from the rankings following her retirement announcement from kickboxing last month.
  • Mako Yamada (6) lost a controversial extended round split decision to Kiho (NR to 5) in their bout for the vacant Knock Out 46 kg title.
