The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has canceled another event scheduled for Paris, France. The promotion confirmed on Thursday that the planned May 23rd event in France has been scrapped, though they didn`t provide an explanation for the decision.

In a statement, the PFL described the cancellation as a “rescheduling,” stating that ticket holders would receive refunds. However, no new date was announced. This isn`t the first time the promotion has faced scheduling issues in the city; a Bellator Paris event was also announced as “rescheduled for later dates” in October 2024.

The canceled Paris card was notably expected to host the mixed martial arts debut of former French national football team and Manchester United captain Patrice Evra. The event was called off before an opponent for Evra was even named.

Local lightweight Mansour Barnaoui was slated to face Archie Colgan in the main event of the PFL Paris card. The promotion has not yet confirmed whether the planned fights, including PFL Europe bantamweight matchups, will be moved to different events.
