Richard Torrez: Keyshawn Davis “Hits Like a Heavyweight”

American super heavyweight boxer Richard Torrez (14-0, 12 KOs), a bronze medalist at the 2020 Olympics, recently shared his thoughts on the formidable punching power of Keyshawn Davis (14-0, 10 KOs). Davis, who also earned a silver medal at the same Games and is a former lightweight (up to 61.2 kg) world champion, profoundly impressed Torrez with his strength and striking ability.

Having had the opportunity to spar with Davis, Torrez remarked that Keyshawn’s punches are remarkably potent, describing them as comparable to those delivered by fighters in much heavier weight classes. He specifically highlighted Davis’s exceptional power, despite competing in the lightweight division, suggesting a striking capability far beyond his weight class.
