Another former K-1 champion is poised to make his mark in the ONE Championship circle.
Former K-1 Super Lightweight Champion Rukiya Anpo is scheduled to make his much-anticipated debut with ONE Championship. The formidable Japanese striker will go head-to-head with featherweight contender Marat Grigorian on November 16 as part of the ONE 173 event in Tokyo.

Anpo`s entry into ONE has been a topic of discussion since the previous year, when he disclosed ongoing talks with the promotion and his willingness to compete without committing to an extended contract. Following his departure from K-1, he remained active through appearances in RIZIN and various crossover fights. Now, he`s stepping back into the fiercely competitive landscape of his division.
Grigorian, a seasoned combatant and former ONE title challenger, poses a significant challenge. This contest has been designated as a title eliminator, with the victor earning the right to challenge the winner of the title unification bout between Superbon and Masaaki Noiri.
