SENSHI, the popular kickboxing promotion, has opened ticket sales for its upcoming event, set to launch the summer season with an exhilarating open-air combat spectacle.
The much-anticipated SENSHI 31: Gladiators event is scheduled for Saturday, May 30th, in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, a city renowned as one of Europe’s most ancient. For this spectacular occasion, SENSHI is returning to the magnificent Ancient Theatre of Plovdiv. The night will feature an intense 8-man kickboxing Grand Prix in the 70kg division, where a new champion will be crowned, guaranteeing a memorable evening of high-stakes martial arts.
This marks SENSHI’s second visit to the Ancient Theatre, following the success of SENSHI 26 in May 2025, which perfectly captured the gladiatorial essence within the historic Roman amphitheater. That previous event culminated in Andrei Kedves securing the European lightweight championship via a third-round knockout against Bulgaria’s Dragomir Petrov. The night also delivered 6 impressive knockouts across 11 exciting matches, featuring fighters like Vladislav Kanchev, seasoned veteran Francesco Xhaja, and Surat Garayev.
SENSHI is committed to honoring the rich history of combat sports by staging this event in such an iconic location. The legendary arena’s hallowed grounds will host battles within one of kickboxing’s most competitive divisions. Adding to the excitement, the event will welcome esteemed fighting legends Ernesto Hoost, Andy Souwer, Semmy Schilt, and Albert Kraus.
This event is the second of five major tournaments planned by the international promotion for 2026, taking place in just over a month.
The intense action will commence on May 30th at 7:30 PM EET / 12:30 PM EST. Tickets are available for purchase via Eventim.bg, with prices ranging from £18/€21 to £44/€51, including exclusive VIP packages. Early purchase is recommended as tickets are anticipated to sell quickly.
Details regarding the Grand Prix matchups and participants, along with other thrilling striking showcases for the card, will be revealed in the upcoming weeks. For fans traveling to Plovdiv, this unparalleled venue guarantees an unforgettable night of high-octane action within one of the world’s most ancient and distinctive arenas.
