The 28-year-old American boxer Shakur Stevenson (25-0, 11 KOs) kicked off 2026 by conquering his fourth division. He claimed the WBO world super lightweight title (up to 63.5 kg) with a dominant points victory over his compatriot Teofimo Lopez.

Shortly after this achievement, Stevenson was stripped of his WBC lightweight belt, which he had previously held.
