The former GLORY champion has found a new organization to compete in.
Thailand`s Sitthichai, a former GLORY champion and ONE athlete, has quickly found a new home. The Japanese promotion KNOCK OUT officially announced the signing of a multi-fight deal with him. Similar to ONE Championship, KNOCK OUT offers its fighters the opportunity to compete across three distinct disciplines: kickboxing, Muay Thai, and mixed martial arts (MMA).
This move came as quite a surprise to many, considering that KNOCK OUT`s lightweight division has seen relatively little activity in recent years. Sitthichai, however, has made it clear that his primary intention is to focus on kickboxing moving forward. It`s noteworthy that the last time a championship belt in this weight class was contested was four years ago, when Kaito Ono secured a victory over Hinata, prior to the promotion`s merger with `Rebels`.
Nevertheless, KNOCK OUT is actively building significant momentum. The promotion has been successful in attracting major talent, including former K-1 champions Taito Gunji and Kongnapa, signaling a new era of growth and competition.
