Soccer Aid 2025 Line-ups: England vs World XI Squads Revealed

The squads for the highly anticipated Soccer Aid 2025 charity match are beginning to take shape, featuring a blend of football legends and celebrity participants, all raising money for Unicef.

England`s team will be co-managed by boxing heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and returning player-manager Wayne Rooney, who is coming out of retirement for this special event.

Fury hasn`t ruled out the exciting possibility of bringing himself on as a substitute during the game to potentially play alongside Manchester United`s all-time record goalscorer, Rooney.

Commenting on his new role, Tyson Fury stated: “ENGLAND MANAGER! Who would ever have thought it!? I have had some big fights in my career and the prospect of leading my England team to victory this June fills me with just as much excitement as any heavyweight fight! Everyone knows that I am a huge Manchester United fan too, so it’s even more special for me that the game is at Old Trafford this year – and I get to manage one of my heroes, Wayne Rooney! How can we lose!? The work UNICEF does all around the world is so special and so important. I really hope that you can come along and support us this summer.”

Old Trafford in Manchester will host the game this year. In previous years, the match has been held at venues like Stamford Bridge and the London Stadium.

England won the 2024 Soccer Aid match with a 6-3 scoreline, ending a six-year wait for a victory against the World XI team.
