Former UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic is reportedly embarking on ambitious new ventures following his retirement from mixed martial arts last year.
The two-time heavyweight titleholder concluded his illustrious combat sports career in November, stepping away from the Octagon after a knockout defeat to Jon Jones.
Widely considered the greatest heavyweight fighter to ever compete in the UFC, the Ohio native is anticipated to be inducted into the promotion’s Hall of Fame in due course.
With his professional fighting days behind him, the beloved veteran has now shared an update regarding his future aspirations, marking a new chapter beyond his celebrated UFC career.

Stipe Miocic Plans to “Try Something New”
Miocic officially confirmed his retirement immediately after his title fight loss to Jon Jones in New York almost a year ago, bringing an end to his 14-year, gold-laden tenure in mixed martial arts.
Known for his commitment as a volunteer firefighter outside of his training camps, Miocic has now hinted at his next professional pursuits.
Earlier today, Miocic announced a new series slated for his YouTube channel, which will document his experiences trying various new roles, including a goalkeeper, tennis player, photographer, and chef.
Miocic Claims He Nearly Evaded Knockout Loss to Jon Jones
In what was his final professional bout, Miocic suffered his fourth career stoppage loss against former two-division champion Jon Jones. Despite the defeat, Miocic made a noteworthy assertion about his opponent after spending three rounds with him in the Octagon.
Describing the former pound-for-pound king as “beatable,” Miocic suggested there are identifiable weaknesses within Jones` formidable fighting style.
Furthermore, reflecting on the uncommon knockout he sustained against Jones, Miocic stated that he was merely “an inch” away from successfully avoiding the decisive technique.
