Tommy Fury made a winning return to the boxing ring on Friday night. However, fight fans tuning in were arguably more entertained by the event`s presenters and the unexpected Ibiza-style trance party atmosphere during the breaks between bouts.
Fury, 26, secured a dominant unanimous decision victory over his Bosnian opponent, Kenan Hanjalic, in their six-round contest held in Budapest. This fight marked Fury`s first win since his match against KSI in October 2023, improving his professional record to 11-0.

The event was peppered with several musical performances, including a techno DJ set that wouldn`t be out of place in a lively nightclub.
Two Hungarian presenters hosted the proceedings at the MTK Arena, and their on-screen presence truly caught the eye of viewers watching the broadcast.

Fans watching live on DAZN took to social media to share their reactions to the unusual production elements. One boxing enthusiast commented, “The presenters of the Tommy Fury Budapest card are absolutely worth tuning in for.” Another, sharing an image of the duo, simply said, “Worth it, init?”
The musical interludes were also a significant talking point. One viewer sarcastically noted, “Can`t even begin to tell you how happy I was to get a popstar musical interlude just now on this Tommy Fury boxing show in Hungary.” Others shared similar sentiments, with one saying, “Some weird choices in the production and like 3 or 4 music acts, this event is so weird lol.” Despite the strangeness, another simply stated, “Loving the music.”
In his emotional post-fight interview, `TNT` paid a heartfelt tribute to his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague and their daughter Bambi. He expressed gratitude, stating, “I just want to say thank you for this victory to the Lord Saviour Jesus Christ, without him, none of this would be possible.” He added, “I want to say hello to my beautiful baby girl, Bambi, at home. And my sweetheart, Molly. She`ll always be mine forever.” He also dedicated the win to his parents, acknowledging, “The reason I am here today is my mother and father. I will love them until the day I die and I owe them everything.”

The former Love Island star also spoke candidly about personal struggles he has faced recently. “I`ve been through a hell of a lot these last two years,” he revealed, “I`ve been through things that tear men down.” He specifically mentioned battling depression and alcohol issues, which temporarily led to him losing contact with his family. However, he ended on a hopeful note, stating he has “turned things around” and is now “on top of the world again.”
