UFC and FBI Collaboration: Elite Combat Training Seminar
On March 11, a partnership was announced between the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). As part of this collaboration, an exclusive training seminar will be held on March 14 and 15 at the FBI Special Agent Academy in Quantico, Virginia. The seminar aims to instruct FBI personnel, including academy students and senior staff, in mixed martial arts techniques.
Among the UFC stars who will serve as instructors are:
- Justin Gaethje (two-time interim lightweight champion)
- Jorge Masvidal (former BMF titleholder)
- Chris Weidman (former middleweight champion)
- Manel Kape
- Michael Chandler
- Claudia Gadelha
- Renzo Gracie (Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt)
UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard will also participate in the seminar. The participants will share their insights on preparing for competition and demonstrate specific combat techniques.
FBI Director Kash Patel emphasized the event’s importance, stating that agents need to master hand-to-hand combat skills to be “even better prepared to protect the American people.” He expressed gratitude to Dana White for the collaboration.
In turn, UFC President Dana White noted his pride in the opportunity for fighters to train the best FBI agents, thereby strengthening their defensive capabilities. He also conveyed deep respect for the work of the FBI.
