Gable’s work ethic and will to win is there, and I stand by him and believe he will go on to be one of the best heavyweights in the UFC. He will be back; I’m sure of it.”
Steveson previously won his UFC debut against Elisha Ellison at UFC 329. He was considered a top heavyweight prospect after bypassing a potential fight on *Dana White’s Contender Series*.
Jones will continue to support Steveson as he recovers from the defeat and prepares for his return to the octagon.
