Rodtang Jitmuangnon vs. Nong-O Hama Headlines ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix Quarterfinals

Two Thai striking legends, previously dominant in different weight classes, are set for a showdown nearly a year in the making. Only one will advance from the opening round of ONE's latest tournament.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon will face fellow former champion Nong-O Hama in a quarterfinal bout for the 2026 ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix. The event, The Inner Circle 38, is scheduled for Friday, November 13. The victor progresses toward the championship belt and a direct path to the reigning ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion, Asadula Imangazaliev.

The pair were initially scheduled to fight at ONE 173 last November. However, Rodtang was hospitalized with illness during fight week, leading to the postponement.

Rodtang, currently ranked #2, then competed in kickboxing against Takeru Segawa, who was having his retirement fight at ONE SAMURAI 1 in April. Rodtang had previously stopped Takeru in 80 seconds in their first encounter, but lost their rematch via fifth-round TKO.

Returning to ONE, Rodtang, who trains at Jitmuangnon Gym, is one victory away from reaching 275 career wins. He holds five title defenses from his previous reign as flyweight champion.

Nong-O, ranked #3, defended his bantamweight title seven times consecutively before moving to flyweight. The 39-year-old boasts 268 career victories.

After a second-round loss to Imangazaliev in March, Nong-O rebounded by outpointing Kongthoranee Sor Sommai in their trilogy match at The Inner Circle 20.

This matchup features Rodtang's relentless forward pressure against Nong-O's tactical approach, characterized by precise right kicks.

Shimon Yoshinari to face Ramadan Ondash in a clash of rising talents

The same event will showcase #4-ranked Shimon Yoshinari. The 22-year-old, a former WBC Muay Thai World Champion, has a professional record of 27-1 and remains undefeated within ONE Championship. His unanimous decision victory over Johan “Jojo” Ghazali at ONE SAMURAI 1 earned him a US$100,000 contract, followed by a home-soil knockout of Suablack Tor Pran49 at ONE SAMURAI 3.

His opponent is #5-ranked Ramadan “The Scorpion” Ondash, a 19-year-old fighter from Tiger Muay Thai with a 14-4 record. After a close loss to Aliff Sor Dechapan, who now holds the interim strawweight title, Ondash has secured wins against Suriyanlek Por Yenying and Ghazali. This bout will test Shimon's southpaw precision against Ondash's rapid hand speed.
