WBO world heavyweight champion, Fabio Wardley (20-0-1, 19 KOs), continues to express his desire for a fight against the undisputed division leader, Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs). Simultaneously, Wardley is increasingly fielding questions regarding a potential bout with the promising young talent Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs).
In an interview, Wardley clarified his stance: “For now, I have championship ambitions, and Oleksandr Usyk is the absolute hegemon of the division, my primary goal. A fight with Moses Itauma is also interesting, but at the moment, I am focused on the opportunity to compete for the highest titles. Therefore, Usyk is my priority option.”
