Misfits boxing events are known for featuring intriguing matchups between individuals you wouldn`t typically expect to see step into the ring. This upcoming fight is certainly one of those occasions.

Wakey Wines owner with Prime
Wakey Wines owner Azar Nazir will make his Misfits debut on Friday.

Azar Nazir, better known online as Wakey Wines, gained massive internet fame in 2022 for selling energy drinks, particularly the popular Prime beverage by KSI and Jake Paul, at significantly inflated prices. During the peak of the phenomenon, people traveled long distances and spent hundreds of pounds to purchase the drink.

While the initial frenzy has subsided, Wakey Wines still boasts a substantial social media following, exceeding a million followers across platforms. Videos from the account continue to receive hundreds of thousands of views – an impressive feat for a local corner shop in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Recent content shared on the Wakey Wines account has shown Azir training in preparation for his debut fight in Misfits against Mo Deen.

Mo Deen – who lost his previous Misfits fight – has become notorious for his content on TikTok.

Mo Deen is another internet personality who has risen to prominence, notably on TikTok, where he has garnered close to 300,000 followers. He gained viral attention following an incident involving WWE legend John Cena, who was reportedly displeased with being filmed and perceived a lack of respect.

Mo Deen holds a professional boxing record of 0 wins and 1 loss, having previously been defeated by Vitaly at Misfits 13 in March 2024. That fight was ultimately stopped by the referee as Mo Deen was struggling against his opponent.

He also had a previous Misfits fight cancelled after a controversial incident where his opponent, conservative YouTuber Alex Stein, threw items described as `hotdogs` at Mo Deen, who practices the Muslim faith. However, both individuals later admitted the incident was staged and that the items thrown were turkey hotdogs, not pork.
