When I Beat Fundora… Keith Thurman Aims for Renewed Attention

Former welterweight world champion, 37-year-old American Keith Thurman (31-1, 23 KOs), is set to challenge his compatriot Sebastian Fundora (23-1-1, 15 KOs) for the WBC junior middleweight title (up to 69.9 kg) in late March. This upcoming bout marks only Thurman’s second appearance in the ring over the past four years. Despite this period of relative inactivity, Thurman is highly confident that a victory will firmly place him back in the boxing spotlight and re-establish him as a major draw in the sport.
