Ronda Rousey Criticizes Kayla Harrison’s Charisma and Stature

A heated war of words is currently underway between MMA fighters Ronda Rousey and Kayla Harrison. Rousey, who is slated for a comeback fight against Gina Carano on Netflix, believes this bout will be historic. However, Harrison and others deem the matchup insignificant due to the fighters’ prolonged inactivity.

Rousey responded sharply to Harrison’s recent comments. While promoting her return, “Rowdy” asserted that she and Carano will always overshadow Harrison, stating that the 35-year-old fighter will forever remain in their shadow. The UFC Hall of Famer remarked:

“She only has a UFC job because of me. Kayla is so irrelevant that she couldn’t even sustain the 145-pound division. Frankly, she’s just bitter because no matter what she does or achieves, she can’t escape the fact that she has the charisma of a wet towel and will always be eclipsed by me and Gina.”

Ronda Rousey’s Harsh Critique of Kayla Harrison

Rousey’s verbal assault was relentless. She even commented on Harrison’s injury and suggested that Paddy Pimblett is a bigger star than the current UFC women’s bantamweight champion. During the same press conference, she added:

“The next time she wants to spew garbage, she should look down and remember who paved the path she’s walking on. Oh, wait! She can’t look down because she’s too busy holding her belt in a neck brace. And then she claims I lied about training judo in Canada in 2006? Who the hell is she to call me a liar? I was training there for five months… This b*tch just arrived and was already caught up. What did she say after winning her belt? She said, ‘I will never say anything bad about Ronda. She looked after me when I was broke in Japan and bought me groceries.’ How about you shut the f*ck up and eat those groceries?”

She continued:

“She’s not even bigger than Paddy the Baddy… Why is she earning less now than I was ten years ago? Figure this out, b*tch. Are you overrated or underpaid?”

Kayla Harrison has since responded to Rousey’s passionate tirade, challenging her to a fight on X:

“FIGHT ME THEN 😎”

Harrison’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, also supported his fighter, stating on X that Harrison possesses a superior resume and more achievements than Rousey.

“Kayla Harrison is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, judo world champion, two-time PFL champion, and now a UFC champion. Ronda Rousey is an Olympic bronze medalist and former UFC champion, coming off two knockout losses. In my opinion, the resumes are not comparable. Good luck to everyone @KaylaH @ufc.”
