Sean Brady’s Clinical Dominance Over Joaquin Buckley at UFC 328

Sean Brady showcased a masterful and controlling performance against Joaquin Buckley at UFC 328 in New Jersey, ultimately earning a decisive unanimous decision victory.

After initial takedown attempts were thwarted, Brady successfully brought Buckley to the mat with less than three minutes remaining in the first round. Once on the ground, Brady quickly transitioned to side control and began seeking a submission. Although Buckley defended effectively, Brady had already secured a dominant position, leading to a 10-9 score in his favor for the round.

Brady continued his strong showing in the second round, taking Buckley down again and swiftly advancing to full mount. While Buckley managed to buck him off and return to his feet, Brady wasted no time in re-engaging, securing another takedown and pinning Buckley against the fence.

Entering the third round, Buckley found himself in a difficult position, having accumulated over six minutes of control time against him across the first two rounds.

The third round followed a similar pattern, with Brady achieving yet another takedown and securing mount. He appeared to be working for an arm triangle submission, but the cage positioning prevented him from fully establishing the hold. Instead, Brady contented himself with delivering effective ground and pound, ensuring a clean sweep on the scorecards.

Official Result: Sean Brady defeated Joaquin Buckley via unanimous decision (30-25, 30-25, 30-27).
