Fan’s Massive Jon Jones Tattoo Sparks Online Debate

A devoted fan recently showcased an extensive tattoo of former UFC two-division champion Jon Jones proudly displaying his championship belt. The fighter himself, known for his own affinity for body art, was reportedly impressed upon seeing the artwork etched onto the fan’s thigh.

During a personal encounter, “Bones” expressed his astonishment, exclaiming, “That’s crazy,” at the sight of his likeness. The interaction further escalated as Jones proceeded to sign the fan’s leg, offering pats and even an excited slap.

The fan’s commitment to the tattoo, however, did not receive universal praise from the online community. Many viewers voiced their disapproval and surprise, with comments ranging from calling the act “insanity” to questioning the decision to permanently ink another individual’s image on one’s body. Some acknowledged the personal nature of tattoos but stated they would only consider getting their children tattooed. Others made more extreme negative remarks.

It’s worth noting that Jon Jones himself has two distinct tattoos: one on his chest featuring a Bible verse from Philippians, and another near his left rib cage with two symbols.

In other news, Jon Jones may be returning to the octagon sooner than anticipated. Following disagreements regarding his contract and a perceived lowball offer, Jones had requested his release from the UFC. However, a recent conversation with UFC official Hunter Campbell has seemingly rekindled his desire to compete, offering fans hope for his swift return. Jones has also undergone stem cell treatment for hip arthritis and reports feeling significantly better. Currently, he is dedicating his time to supporting his protege, Gable Steveson, who recently signed with the UFC and is scheduled to compete in July.
