Jiri Prochazka is setting his sights on a return to the Octagon this coming autumn. Following a disappointing setback in his third attempt to claim the light heavyweight title, where he was defeated by Carlos Ulberg via first-round knockout at UFC 327, Prochazka is looking to move forward.
The former champion acknowledged a significant missed opportunity during the fight but is now focused on his next steps. Prochazka has revealed he is targeting a return around October, taking some time off for family duties with his newborn daughter.
During a recent interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Prochazka expressed his readiness for a comeback. When discussing potential opponents, the 33-year-old Czech fighter named Magomed Ankalaev and Paulo Costa as his preferred choices, stating his desire to face the best to prove he is the best.
Prochazka currently holds a 6-3 record in the UFC, with notable victories against Jamahal Hill, Glover Teixeira, and Khalil Rountree Jr.
