Nate Diaz Vows Comeback After Brutal Mike Perry Loss

Following his recent TKO defeat, Nate Diaz has issued a statement to his fans and Mike Perry. Earlier this month at MVP MMA 1, Diaz faced off against BKFC’s “King of Violence,” Perry, in a bout that did not go as planned for the 41-year-old fighter.

Diaz appeared to struggle with his rhythm, timing, and distance management throughout the fight, finding it difficult to defend himself effectively. In contrast, Mike Perry maintained relentless pressure and high output, overwhelming Diaz. By the end of the second round, Diaz’s face was significantly injured and bleeding heavily, leading his corner to stop the fight.

After the fight, Diaz acknowledged that the bleeding impaired his vision and concurred with his team’s decision to halt the bout. He has since requested a rematch and is eager to face Perry again once he has recovered.

Nate Diaz Thanks Mike Perry, Issues Warning

Nate Diaz took to Instagram to thank Mike Perry for accepting the fight. Diaz attributed his subpar performance to a lack of recent activity but promised a strong return, issuing a stern warning to “Platinum.” He stated:

“I wasn’t happy with my inactivity, but a lack of opponents will do that. It was easy to get up for me in this fight. Now I think it’ll be even easier to get up for him. Either way, shoutout to Mike on the win and for getting me off my a*s. Now I’ve got a target. Hunting season. Take the motherf**ker out #WatchUKnowAboutThat #kill #HuntingSeason #Rematch #Golden1CenterSacramento 🎯”

In response to Diaz’s comments, Mike Perry remarked:

“Yeah, good fight Nate. I was starting to get tired man thank goodness they stopped it.”
