Darren Till Believes Mike Perry Fight Could Sell Out a Stadium, Wants It to Start Next Year
Darren Till remains confident that a fight with Mike Perry could draw a stadium-sized crowd.
Till recently fought in the main event of BKFC 94, defeating former UFC fighter Yoel Romero by unanimous decision. This victory marked Till's second win in bare-knuckle boxing.
With the Romero fight concluded, Till is now focusing on the long-desired matchup with Perry. Speaking after the BKFC 94 event, Till expressed his belief that a bout between them could still be a major draw in 2027, citing their history.
"It's eight years in the making, me and Mike Perry," Till stated. "I personally think me and Perry sell a stadium out. The history, the back and forth for eight years – what could come of that? I sold that arena out tonight. I respect Yoel more than anything, he's a phenom, but that was my arena tonight. If Mike Perry and I fight, we'll sell a stadium out."
Till added, "If Mike wants to come back here and be the 'A' side and get more money or whatever, I don't give a f*ck. But I want that fight. I want that fight to start next year if David [Feldman] can make that happen."
Perry is currently recovering from a dislocation sustained in his last fight. BKFC president David Feldman is reportedly open to booking the Perry vs. Till fight in the near future.
